Career Experience

I have taught 8th grade accelerated science for five years at a top rated junior high school. I have also taught reading and math for struggling learners. I have taught outdoor education for K-12 at a science center. I worked for 7 years as a program technician in an entomology lab.

I Love Tutoring Because

teaching and learning are my passion. I love watching students have that "aha" moment when they truly understand a topic. I am a life-long learner and believe in learning by doing. I have a hands-on approach to teaching and want to help students develop the skills they need to pursue their own learning journey.
