I am a passionate and dedicated educator with over 25 years of experience teaching college-level Statistics and related math subjects to both undergraduate and graduate students. I am skilled at breaking down complex topics into clear, easy-to-understand explanations that build confidence and lasting understanding. In addition to classroom teaching, I have extensive experience tutoring students online in Mathematics and Statistics, helping them improve grades, prepare for exams, and strengthen problem-solving skills. I am proficient in SPSS, Minitab, StatCrunch, MS Excel. I am an extremely patient tutor and I adapt to the levels of my students quickly and help them improve their grades and develop more confidence in attempting and solving problems. I guide them on how to approach a given question, give them important tips to decide which formula to apply in given situations. I strive to instill in my students intellectual curiosity, resourcefulness and confidence in grasping concepts and solving problems.
I Love Tutoring Because
teaching has always been my way of making a meaningful difference. Even when I earned my engineering degree in the late1970s—a time when few women pursued Electronics—I was drawn to learning, problem-solving, and helping others understand complex ideas. While engineering provided technical challenges, I found true fulfillment in teaching and guiding students. a passion that continues to this day.
