For students who choose the National University of Singapore’s (NUS) MBA for its strategic location, they make the choice to be in the heart of Asia, in cosmopolitan Signapore: One student says simply of NUS, “It is the best school in Asia about Asia.” Indeed, NUS’ “good reputation as a premier Asian school” is sharply enlivened by its location “in a center of finance.” Students value NUS’ ability to “combine academic studies with practical experience” in their MBA education, as well as the fact that some of their professors are “practitioners from the professional world.” “The finance, accounting, and economics professors” get especially high ratings from students.

“The size of each class is also small—about fifty students in one class,” which encourages “every student to participate in class.” Students also appreciate the intellectual variety of participating in “classroom studying, study groups, study trips, networking sessions and social activities,” experiential learning, and say that, through a synthesis of all these experiences, their “understanding of global business, sustainability, team work and life skills has [been] enhanced.” NUS’ “School administration is very supportive and takes feedback,” and indeed, students participate in “platforms such as town hall events and other formal and informal meetings” to help administrators “understand and improve areas where students are facing difficulty.” As a whole, one students sums up the NUS MBA as “a great learning experience, especially for developing insights into Asian business environments.”
