Life University, established in 1974, has the distinction of being Georgia's only highly selective chiropractic college and boasts superior programs in the fields of biology, biopsychology, business administration, computer information management, dietetics, life coaching, nutrition, psychology, and sport health science.

Maximizing your self expression also means letting your fun side out to play. Our thriving campus and energetic student body always has something planned — an international food festival, being inspired by Maya Angelou, Monte Carlo night or a hands-on seminar with a top speaker in your major. We support more than 60 clubs that bring students together.
Even the start of each quarter is cause for celebration with First Tuesdays gathering of old and new students, faculty and administrators with music, food, camaraderie and free, specially-designed T-shirts just to set the tone for the next 11 weeks of learning and growing.
A winning basketball team, a championship rugby team and the new cycling club are some of the sports activities which provide energetic opportunities for students to display school pride. Students enjoy a campus replete with a Wellness Center which offers a vast array of weekly classes and extensive equipment. Free chiropractic care, nutrition counseling, life coaching and health and fitness evaluations from student colleagues support our institutional commitment to health and fitness.

General Application Procedures
1. Completed on-line or paper applications should be submitted to the Office of New Student Development.
2. There is a $50 non-refundable application fee due at the time of application.
3. Official high school transcripts or GED transcripts must be submitted if you will be entering the University with less than 60 semester / 90 quarter hours of college credit.
4. Official transcripts of all postsecondary educational institutions previously attended should be submitted.
5. Both the graduate and doctor of chiropractic degrees require personal letters of recommendation.
6. Results of appropriate official test scores may be required (see specific degree listings), such as SAT, 91´«Ã½ or GRE.
7. Any person falsifying admissions information is subject to immediate dismissal from the University.
8. The University must receive all required documentation 91´«Ã½ or SAT scores are not required if you have completed at least 14 semester / 20 quarter hours of college credit at least 30 days prior to the beginning of the quarter the student wishes to begin enrollment.
9. All applicants must reveal whether they have a criminal record and cooperate by providing complete information for review. A record of serious criminal convictions may disqualify an applicant for admission.
10. Applications for admission are good for one year. If matriculation does not occur within one year, students must submit another application and fee.
International Applicants
1. Must also submit proof of proficiency in English i.e. TOEFL score must be TOEFL computer based -173 or higher, paper based 500 or higher, or internet based 90 or higher i.e. score of 70 or above. Students who do not meet the required scores may be admitted as provisional students and will be required to take English as a Second Language (ESL) at the University. These students will be given three quarters to demonstrate proficiency to continue in their program.
2. Must submit evidence of having the financial resources or funding commitment to complete at least one year of education. Financial resources should cover the cost of room, board, tuition and incidental expenses.
Documentation must be dated within six months of the students anticipated matriculation date.
3. International transcripts must be evaluated by an approved international evaluation agency. Contact the Office of New Student Development for a complete list of approved international transcript evaluation agencies.
4. If accepted, international students are required to carry a minimum of twelve quarter-hours of academic coursework in order to meet the full-time requirement of the United States Immigration and Naturalization Service.
5. The University must receive all documentation at least 45 days prior to the beginning of the quarter the student wishes to begin enrollment.

Student Success Center. Individuals exercise their minds freely and openly here in an intellectual haven for learning and exploring. But we won't leave you out there alone. Situated just outside of Atlanta and nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Life University's beautiful 90-acre campus is located in Marietta, Georgia. It was on the present site of Life University that most of the paper used by the South for banknotes, bonds and currency during the Civil War was produced. Its close proximity to the nation's third-largest city dictates that there is something for anyone, from organic cooking to NASCAR, the nation’s third-largest city has a place for you that will feel just right. Whether you call it Hotlanta, the ATL, or the gateway to the South…it's a great place to be.
Campus Facilities & Equipment
Located on 90 beautiful acres, Life University is one of the most well-equipped chiropractic institutions in the country.
Recently completed facilities include the new student housing, parking and child development institute complex, the new student cafe and recently re-designed additional campus green space. All are designed to accommodate the busy student's lifestyle as they pursue their education. The library boasts an array of collections, wireless internet access and on-line resources. Computer labs are also available for student use.
Personal fitness really comes together in our on-campus Wellness Center where students can work out with strength training and aerobic equipment and participate in a vast array of classes. Students can choose from personal training or select from classes in Pilates, spinning, aerobics, weightlifting, martial arts, salsa, yoga, boot camp, cardio burn and interval work outs to help achieve personal work-out goals.
Life University is one of the first 100 college and university presidents to sign on in support of the American College and University Presidents Climate Commitment.
Off-Campus Opportunities
Opportunities abound in this lively city to connect with professional mentors, land internships, network with students and access Atlanta's libraries, science museums and historical attractions. In Atlanta and its bustling suburbs, you can find excellent career opportunities as CNN, Coca Cola, Home Depot, Delta and Georgia-Pacific are all headquartered in Atlanta.

Campus Facilities & Equipment
Located on 90 beautiful acres, Life University is one of the most well-equipped chiropractic institutions in the country.
Recently completed facilities include the new student housing, parking and child development institute complex, the new student cafe and recently re-designed additional campus green space. All are designed to accommodate the busy student's lifestyle as they pursue their education. The library boasts an array of collections, wireless internet access and on-line resources. Computer labs are also available for student use.
Personal fitness really comes together in our on-campus Wellness Center where students can work out with strength training and aerobic equipment and participate in a vast array of classes. Students can choose from personal training or select from classes in Pilates, spinning, aerobics, weightlifting, martial arts, salsa, yoga, boot camp, cardio burn and interval work outs to help achieve personal work-out goals.
Life University is one of the first 100 college and university presidents to sign on in support of the American College and University Presidents Climate Commitment.
Off-Campus Opportunities
Opportunities abound in this lively city to connect with professional mentors, land internships, network with students and access Atlanta's libraries, science museums and historical attractions. In Atlanta and its bustling suburbs, you can find excellent career opportunities as CNN, Coca Cola, Home Depot, Delta and Georgia-Pacific are all headquartered in Atlanta.
With the multitude of activities including pro or college sports, art, dance, theater, music, museums, hiking trails, restaurants or shopping, festivals, concerts, 5K runs, book signings and weather to die for, Atlanta is really about all you can do, see, hear, feel, watch and experience here.
